Nude college students imitate Miley Cyrus, take down statue

Shocking news from Grand Valley State University in Michigan--students there have been paying tribute to salacious songstress Miley Cyrus by taking off all of their clothes and going for a swing on the campus's beloved pendulum sculpture.

But nude antic do have consequences, and now the sculpture's coming down! Officials fear one of the exuberant nude frolickers might injure themselves, or even bring the artwork crashing to the ground, and have ordered the sculpture be removed.

Really, though, it sounds like no one seems to think the loss of the sculpture is such a big whoop--one administrator even said "It's given us a few chuckles." Nude pendulum swinging will do that!

Nude blunder for Alison Pill

Pretty Newsroom star Alison Pill flashed her goodies on Twitter last year. Now, while making promotional appearances for her show, she says it was all a big mistake--a big, publicity-generating mistake!

Pill recently told Conan O'Brien, "...for about three months after it happened I couldn't... every time I met a new person I [kept thinking], 'Boobs! Nice to meet you, you've seen my boobs'" (see video above). Well, they don't call it show business for nothing!

Amanda Seyfried: Nude scenes are "liberating"

For her starring role in Lovelace, lovely Amanda Seyfried was called upon to perform nude scenes. But the Mean Girls star didn't care! "What's the big deal?" the actress wondered aloud, while publicizing the film. She was also reported to have commented: ""It's funny, because I felt liberated when I was doing it."

Overweight nude Germans in fountain shocker

A bunch of overweight Germans went on vacation in Switzerland. Sounds fun! While there, they took off all their clothes and sat in a fountain! No one really knows why they did such a thing--it wasn't very hot, according to witnesses, and they didn't seem to have been drinking. Lucky for them, none of the locals really seem to care too much about the shocking display:

In the end they dressed and left without anyone making a fuss, and a local council spokesman said. "They were not noisy, we don't encourage it but it was a bit of a change and they were only there 30 minutes."

Tennessee woman swims nude to help robber husband

This story about a robber's nude assistant is a little confusing, but it goes something like this:

Some lady in Crossville, TN, asked her neighbor, Stephen Amaral, if she could take a swim in his pool. He said yes, then she took off all of her clothes and did nude laps for an entire 20 minutes while dude sat there and watched. Meanwhile, the naked lady's husband was inside the neighbor's house, robbing the poor guy blind!

When Amaral returned to his house, he found that $1,195 in valuables had been stolen. The suspects are still on the loose.

What's the lesson? Who can tell. Maybe it's this: there's no such thing as a free show.
