Wendy Williams returns, literally eats crow
Bodacious, bombastic talk show hostess Wendy Williams returned to the airwaves on Monday for the debut of season six of her raucous chat fest. Yay! But it was not all fun and games, because Wendy finally had to make good on a promise she made long ago.
You see, funny Wendy once said that she was so sure that Kim Kardashian & Kanye West would never last long--and that if they did, she would eat crow. Well, Wendy is a woman of her word, so she showed up to the set with a chef and a bottle of hot sauce. Mmm-mm! (See the clip here.)
Wendy also did her usual thing and dished all about Beyonce & Jay-Z and Nick & Mariah. She also paid an emotional, hilarious tribute to Joan Rivers, who was a guest on Wendy's show a record eight times.
After a tough summer, it's a happy day when a sensational presence like this returns to light the screen back up. Welcome back Wendy!
Lady Bunny salutes Joan Rivers
It's no secret--here at Cafeteria Lady, Joan Rivers was one of our favorite things. After her shocking death, we sometimes found ourselves wondering how we could ever go. Leave it to Lady Bunny to show the way. Joan wanted us to laugh at shocking, inappropriate, and hilarious jokes, and in this video, Bunny's got a load of them, about Joan and other showbiz legends who've died this year.
One of our favorite bits is when Bunny says that Joan died doing what she loved most--having surgery performed on herself!

You’re one of the most well-known comics out there today, why are you doing a web chat show?It sure is, Joan. It sure is.
Because that’s where life is now. It’s all about social media and the internet. I look at my grandson and he’s on his iPad and he’s on his iPhone and he’s reading books that are, unfortunately, no longer hardcover books. And I love that; it’s the Wild West out there. I can say what I want on the show, I can ask the questions I want, and it’s just so much fun. And there’s nobody coming to say “Well, we’re the network, and we’d rather you not do that joke.” There’s none of that. It’s all new and wonderful.

New "In Bed with Joan" with Eric Andre
Yes, Joan Rivers is back, with the 33rd episode of her unvarnished, outrageous online talk show, "In Bed with Joan"! Her guest? It's Eric Andre, and he's one of her boldest, most ribald yet! Also, it looks like Audible is going to be a regular sponsor for Joan--make that money, honey! We're sad, though. Audible sounds so nice, but at double the price of Netflix, it's just too, too expensive. Make us a deal, Audible!
You know what was great? That time Penn Jillette was on Joan's show!

It's a Cafeteria Lady Blog meltdown, as our favorite chat-show host, Joan Rivers, meets our favorite everything, Tabatha Coffey, on the sensational online chat show In Bed With Joan! Tabatha talks about growing up obese in transexual-staffed strip clubs, and Joan marvels at just how funny her guest really is. Can't they just have a regular show they host together, please?

In Bed with Joan: 3 some, and commercials!
Joan Rivers is back with her phenomenal online talk show, In Bed with Joan, and she's celebrating the show's first threeway, with singer Jessie James and football star Eric Decker. Trivia tip: Jessie is NOT the girl who sings that "It's not about the money, money" song.
Something else is new in this episode--a commercial! It's for Audible, the audiobook subscription service. It sounds so great, but did you know it's almost $15 a month? Too much--it makes us sad.

Lance Bass in bed--with Joan!
Joan Rivers snared a big star for her web show--it's Lance Bass! From N'Sync! Doesn't he look adorable in plaid, cardigan, and a tie. But why does he do that to his eyebrows? If he'd grow a few things out, he might look sort of like a cousin to Breaking Bad's handsome Aaron Paul!

"Breaking Bad" star Betsy Brandt on "In Bed With Joan"
Breaking Bad's Marie is on the new "In Bed with Joan," and she's totally funny! Who would have guessed that from her rather serious role. She and Joan crack jokes at Julia Roberts's expense the whole time, and the episode just breezes by. Highly recommended!

There's a new episode of In Bed with Joan, the web series from legendary comic Joan Rivers. This time, magician, humorist, and inventor Penn Jillette is the guest, and the conversation is as surprising and funny as ever. One highlight: Penn explains how Debbie Harry's frustrating experience in a hot tub led him to invent the "Jill Jet"--a special model designed to stimulate the clitoris!

Aisha Tyler on "In Bed with Joan"
Funnylady Aisha Tyler is the special guest on the new episode of comedy legend Joan Rivers's fantastic new online talk show, "In Bed with Joan." In their free-ranging conversation, Aisha reveals her desire to be "the black Joan Rivers," and she works so hard, she might just get there! The poor woman wakes up at 5 am everyday, does her TV show ("The Talk"), her podcast ("Girl on Guy"), some voiceover work, and a million other things. She tells Joan that by the time she gets home, her husband doesn't recognize her anymore--and thinks she's RuPaul! She also dishes about attending high school in San Francisco with fellow celebs Margaret Cho and Sam Rockwell. Aisha's a funny and warm guest, and she and Joan get along like a house on fire.
Aisha's making the rounds to promote her new book, Self-Inflicted Wounds: Heartwarming Tales of Epic Humiliation, available now, and we're sure it's every bit as hilarious and thoughtful as she is.
